There's so much about Wink that I admired and that inspired me: I loved her enthusiasm (for crochet, yarn, friends), I loved the way she used words in her writing (I'll never forget her 'yarn babies'), I loved her amazing use of colour, her photography, her crochet designs... the list goes on. She was so full of creative life, I count myself lucky to have shared in her creative gifts.I discovered her blog through work and instantly fell in love with it. Later, I fell in love with her because she was always the loveliest person to deal with. I don't follow many blogs, but Wink was extraordinary. To me, she was more than a creative being, she was a human being. Because she cared. That was what made her special. That's what I'll remember.
